
On March 31, the 108th Luojia Forum on Economic and Management Development was held at the Tianhao∙Luojia Wutong Lecture Hall. Professor Yadong Luo from the University of Miami, USA, delivered an academic report titled "Geopolitics and Global Disorder."

The forum was chaired by Professor Chen Limin, Director of the Department of Business Administration and Head of the Global Strategy Research Center. Party Committee Secretary Wang Liping delivered the welcome address, highlighting Professor Luo's pioneering contributions to international business research and the strategic significance of today's topic for global management studies. She emphasized Wuhan University's commitment to fostering cutting-edge academic dialogues that address contemporary geopolitical challenges.

Professor Yadong Luo, Emery Findlay Distinguished Chair Professor at the University of Miami, provided a panoramic overview of the most pressing and cutting-edge challenges in international business, with particular focus on geopolitics and geoeconomics. His synthesis demonstrated how these forces are fundamentally reshaping global landscapes and compelling multinational enterprises to rethink their strategic responses.
Professor Luo identified several theoretically driven, socially relevant research frontiers ripe for empirical validation in international business studies. With exceptional clarity, he analyzed emerging corporate strategies including: Risk Intelligence, Digital Interconnectivity, Multipolar Geostrategic Positioning, Regional Pathway Reconstruction, Corporate Diplomacy.

Professor Yu Zhen, Dean of Hongyi Honors College, engaged in scholarly dialogue with Professor Luo during the Q&A session. The discussion deepened through rigorous examination of conceptual frameworks and theoretical constructs, with Professor Luo sharing invaluable research insights drawn from his decades of pioneering work.
