On August 23rd, the National Natural Science Foundation of China released the evaluation results of the concentratedly received application projects for the National Natural Science Foundation in 2024. EMS was approved for a total of 21 projects, among which there were 2 key projects, 10 general projects, and 9 Youth Science Foundation projects, with a total direct expenditure of 10.01 million yuan.

Under the situation where the number of application projects across the country has repeatedly reached new highs and the competition is extremely fierce, the number of National Natural Science Foundation projects approved by our college in 2024 increased by 40% compared to 2023, and the approval rate was 39%. Compared with the national approval rate of 13% this year, the approval rate of our college was three times the national average approval rate.

In recent years, the college has served the "Four Orientations", actively carried out organized scientific research, and supported the construction of first-class disciplines. It has encouraged teachers to undertake major strategic tasks of the country, and provided supporting funds for major and key projects approved and established under the three major national funds. It has provided multi-level and full-process services for the declaration of funds, meticulously organized and mobilized communication activities such as review, pre-defense, and review, focused on improving the quality of project declaration, and promoted the high-quality development of the School's scientific research work.
