WANG Yitong was awarded the 16th "Top Ten Outstanding Young People (Students) of Wuhan University".

On April 28th, the school held the 2023 Communist Youth League Commendation Conference. Wang Yitong, a doctoral student of our school, was awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Outstanding Youth (Students)" of Wuhan University. The university's Party secretary, Huang Taiyan, presented the award to him.

WANG Yitong, male, is a member of the Communist Party of China and a doctoral student in the School of Economics and Management in 2023. His advanced deeds of perseverance and progress in the face of unexpected life events were on the hot search and covered by more than 30 media outlets such as People's Daily, China Youth Daily, and Xinhua Daily Telegraph. Due to muscle paralysis in his right arm, WANG Yitong studies and lives with his left hand and was recommended for the postgraduate and doctoral program at Wuhan University with top grades. He is resilient and positive. He once served as the team leader to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions like Chuangqingchun and won many awards. During thisyears, he served as a student cadre of the Party branch and gave keynote Party lessons. He is innovative and has excellent grades. His research results focus on the national strategic development and the needs of the economic society. He has published a total of 8 core journal papers of SCI and SSCI. Among them, he has published 2 SCI/SSCI papers in the top zone of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 1 ABS three-star journal paper as the first/ corresponding author. He is practical and determined to forge ahead. He has conducted investigations in many places, served as a reviewer for multiple SCI, participated in 5 research projects, and completed 3 application forms and research reports, applying his professional knowledge to meet the needs of national construction.
